Election Time smiles….McKinney during the Black Men United Forum...talking about how accessible he is to the public...nice thing to say when it's election time. Carl Washington has been the director of CW Boxing Club and Youth Resource Center for 47 years, longer than Chambers had been legislator and longer than McKinney has been alive. The club has been locally and nationally recognized, including by two presidents for its service to youth, having served more than 50,000 youth in the North Omaha, predominantly District 11, area. The club itself was founded in the basement of Mr. Washington's home, which is in District 11, a home Mr. Washington has resided in for decades, having been born and raised in District 11 himself. Thing is...Mckinney has been anything, but accessible. These are the same sentiments echoed by others throughout the community. I guess 'alot'of it 'don't be true'. I guess some of the assumptions are true. I couldn't believe he actually stated he's probably THE MOST SUCCESSFUL senator in the legislature. 😳🧐
